“ While visiting DC on a road trip to Boston, I decided to give this place a try. Im so so glad I found this Thai cozy yummy cuisine. I did a quick google search and they had the best reviews from my location. It was in Oct on a holiday so they where not busy at all. I ordered via telephone, my food was ready in approx. 20min. I'm ok with the wait, good food doesn't need to be prepared quickly. Parking tip: hubs stayed in the car while on the side of the street, so no parking issues for us, also on most holidays street parking is free in DC, your welcome, Lol! Food was good and hot, we found a lovely park and enjoyed our to go food. Serving size was more than enough for lunch. I had the green curry and my spouse had the chicken fried rice. and chicken satay. The inside of restaurant was clean and tidy, staff was very professional. I did feel welcome, and this will be a go to spot if Im in town, yes I highly recommend them. Our food was absolutely delicious, not to spicy but just perfect! ”
“ Have you ever had a day that you weren't the best version of yourself? Well, this was the day I came to Royal Thai Cuisine. I was visiting the area planning my family members funeral. My cellular was broken and not holding a charge. I had taken an Uber to the store to buy a charging pad. I walked down the street using the memorized directions I seen on my phone before it died. When I got to the restaurant I was overheated, in need of the restroom, kinda lost and praying my phone charged up, and of course hungry. The staff welcomed me in as if I was a visiting relative. They pointed to the bathroom, a table next to a plug I can charge my phone and gave me some water. She also added the fan in my area to assist me in cooling off. The customer service for me was some of the best. The food was absolutely delicious as well. Truly thank you for your hospitality. I felt very welcome and when in the area I will definitely stop in again. ”
“ YUM! Gem of Chinatown! Food was 10/10. Service not the fastest but they only had 3 people total including kitchen so I'll give them a break here. They also had crazy amount of doordash orders so clearly locals love this place. We did mango salad, thai classic you can't go wrong with -- fresh, juicy, appetizing. Cashew nut with chicken was just outstanding, very flavorful, just the right amount of sauce, I was seriously considering ordering second plate to go! Pad Thai was also one of the best we've tried. Would recommend!! ”
“ When in Chinatown... I guess have Thai. The Chinese places nearby didn't get great reviews. And I love Thai. So, I came here. Nice little place. Elegant but not overly fancy. Great service. Interesting menu. I went simple, with a Thai iced tea and drunken noodles. Excellent tea. And excellent dish, with wide rice noodles, beef (your choice of meats,) veggies, and a fair amount of heat. I like heat, and chose medium, and it was still pretty hot. Sadly, I am not from the area, but I would keep this in mind if I were. Reasonably priced, lots of interesting menu options, and really good food. ”
